The recently concluded Straitgate Schools Leadership Camp was an unforgettable experience one filled with learning, laughter, bonding, and spiritual growth. Designed to nurture the next generation of godly, confident, and purpose-driven leaders, the camp brought together students from across our schools for a weekend of inspiration and adventure.

Arrival & Orientation

Excitement filled the air as students arrived on camp day — bags in hand, faces glowing with expectation. After registration and room allocations, campers gathered for a warm welcome session, where the camp theme and goals were introduced. Right from the start, it was clear: this was more than just a camp; it was a journey of discovery and leadership development.

Team Building, Games, and Sports

The energy soared as teams engaged in various games and sports designed to promote teamwork, communication, and resilience. From relay races to strategy challenges, every activity carried valuable lessons about leadership, cooperation, and perseverance. Laughter and cheers echoed across the field as students competed in friendly matches, showing both sportsmanship and creativity.

Prayer & Reflection

Each day was anchored in prayer, devotion, and reflection — reminding our young leaders that true leadership begins with a heart surrendered to God. Camp sessions included inspiring talks, group discussions, and worship moments that encouraged students to seek wisdom, humility, and courage in their leadership journeys.

The Bonfire Experience

As night fell, the glow of the bonfire brought a special sense of unity and warmth. Students gathered around the fire, singing, sharing experiences, and reflecting on what they had learned. It was a powerful moment of connection — with God, with one another, and with the vision of being leaders who make a difference in their world.

By the close of camp, students left renewed  stronger in faith, clearer in purpose, and ready to lead with excellence and integrity. The 2025 Leadership Camp truly embodied our vision at Straitgate Schools: “Building a Generation for God.”
